Prior to his founding of Corporate Risk Solutions, Mr. Roe assembled and managed a consulting and investigative team that was one of the top five offices for that firm.

Mr. Roe started his security consulting career as a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent. These 10 years spent in human intelligence operations, provided Mr. Roe with both extensive training and experience in worldwide operations related to espionage, information loss, treason, sabotage and counter-terrorism. As a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent, Mr. Roe worked in both defensive and offensive operations.

Mr. Roe’s federal government experience included: highly technical regulatory assurance inspections (Counterintelligence Inspections); in-depth risk and vulnerability assessments and systems design completed as part of an Operational Security Evaluation; critical mission emergency response planning (completed as part of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Special Ammunition Site Response Book Development Program and as a member of the Nuclear Accident Incident Response Assistance (NAIRA) team in Europe); risk qualification and quantification as the U.S. Army’s Northern Germany Risk Assessment Officer; professional security awareness and security training programs (completed as part of the operations security [OPSEC] and monitoring and recording conversations [MARC] programs of the U.S. Army); and emergency management planning, testing and evaluation as an intelligence war games exercise simulator for the U.S. Army III Corps.

Mr. Roe combines his 26 years of international experience with extensive continuing professional development. While Corporate Risk Solutions and Mr. Roe maintain a vendor and product neutral position regarding endorsement of one security product or manufacturer, as a recognized expert, Mr. Roe does voluntarily participate in technical roadmap product development groups for many of the recognized best-in-class and industry leading Tier 1 security products manufacturers.

Mr. Roe is a sought after speaker on security topics and has published many technical white papers for clients and industry publications.
