Developed an interactive web-based security awareness and prevention program, which was distributed over the company’s Intranet allowing the program to reach the company’s employees located across seven mid-west states.

Security Awareness Project
Completed a comprehensive Security Awareness Training program for OGE’s 3200 employees located in two states. In addition, this training project developed awareness training aids and updated the company’s desktop emergency action reference book. The success of the training was evident through increased volume and quality of reporting by employees participating in the program.

The program was developed as an enterprise-wide solution to the company’s ever-increasing losses due to theft and fraud. A comprehensive training course was developed to educate field employees on the identification of utility theft, utility tampering, and customer fraud. The second component of the training incorporated the procedures for documenting and reporting these incidents to the accounting department and the local law enforcement for prosecution.

This program included the development of a business continuity plan for the company, and included an employee response training program. The program was presented to familiarize the affected personnel with their role in a potential crisis and the response plans that they would use in case of such an event.

A program designed to educate leadership within the organization on the purpose and methodology involved in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments at their facilities. This training program allowed the group to accurately and affectively conduct risk assessments of their critical facilities and identify those areas needing security enhancement.

Developed a security orientation program to assist new employees with their assimilation into the organization and their understanding of corporate security policies and services provided by the security department to the company’s personnel.

Workplace Violence Recognition & Response
This project involved the creation of a workplace violence and victimization reduction training program, designed specifically for the work related issues encountered by the water department’s field service employees. The program, presented consisted of a two-hour training class provided over multiple days to allow for all affected personnel to be included.
